but, the real education came sideways: squats, noise, bodies, industry, disillusionment.

I saw how the machine works. I declined the contract.

Julia Opus Raven is not a brand.

My first instrument was proximity

listening to my dad, Richard Bartram, building sound below floor level.

Jazz, folk, fragments, experiments. That was the codebase.
